We are building a small house to be shown at the BIA Home Building and Remodeling Show at Blaisdale Jan. 24-27th 2008.
We refer to this demo house as the Playhouse, but it is far from a children's toy. Nearly all features of the construction are fabricated just as a full size house would be built, including the lumber dimensions for doors, windows, walls, flooring and typical beams.
The playhouse is only 9 feet square, but it features:
- A carved entry door
- Sliding glass door
- Hardwood louvers window
- Casement window
- Awning window
- Three different harwood floor options (bangkirai, merbau and teak)
- Four different open ceiling treatments (bangkirai, bamboo, teak block and rattan)
- 100% Hardwood construction
This will allow prospective clients to see the quality and engineering that exemplify Hawaiian Hardwood Homes projects.
